i struggled with my purpose
Maybe you’ve been there, too. Maybe you are there now. A place where you hit a roadblock and don't really know where to go from there. A place where you question your gifts and if you're even equipped for the space you feel called to. A place where you’re trying to figure out where the space even is.
It happens — to us all.
When I started creating almost a decade ago, I had no plans to begin anything. I thought this was going to be a one tee, one time thing. I had no agenda.
I was simply a girl sharing a piece of her story from a season of life and creating a tee as a simple reminder of the lesson.
Without realizing, I started putting the cart before the horse and lost sight of my why. I stopped sharing my journey and lessons learned along the way, and instead, beautiful fonts on soft apparel became the replacement — a season summed up in simple 8-20 characters. This is where I got out of alignment.
Sometimes the what isn’t wrong, but rather, the how. The two were always supposed to work in tandem.
I printed me out of the picture, for years. And then, got all too comfortable and used to hiding behind the scenes.
I no longer wanted to create — even though it was obvious this was a gift given to me. I’m not smart enough to create all of this myself. God had and still has a plan. I just needed to redefine purpose.
If you're struggling with your purpose today, just remember you don't have to go and find it. It's already within you. It never left. You are purposed. You are purpose.

Sometimes the what isn’t wrong, but rather, the how.
how did i get back into alignment, Back to purpose?
I don’t recommend going through life quitting everything, but sometimes it’s necessary to quit some things. Sometimes it’s the only way we can find our way back to ourselves, and ultimately move forward. Sometimes disconnecting from a thing will lead to connecting with it again, in a more beautiful way.
I allowed myself to quit
Something beautiful happens when we rest. It gives us time to refill and refuel. Resting allowed depleted parts of me to be restored and empty areas to be refilled. Rest helps sharpen our ears and nurture our souls.
I allowed myself to rest and just be
God speaks to us, but He’s not going to compete with our busyness nor our agendas. He’s not even going to compete with our wants. We can only hear what He’s speaking to our hearts when we stop doing all the things, all the talking, and instead, choose to intentionally listen to the still, small voice.
i listened to the still, small voice

This collection was created for those of us who’ve struggled with our purpose at one point or another, and for those of us who are choosing to live out our purpose. Created for us all.
